On a bitterly cold December day in Atlanta, I had the privilege of working as an Assistant Producer on Lecrae’s “Wheels Up” music video, a project that was far more than just visuals—it was a message of hope. Shot in a raw, industrial warehouse, the setting reflected the song’s powerful theme: the tension between mental health struggles, fame, and the search for peace. Lecrae, never one to shy away from vulnerability, poured his heart into this project, reminding all of us that God meets us in our darkest moments to restore our minds and shift our perspective. My role on set involved supporting the production team and helping to bring Lecrae’s vision to life, ensuring every detail captured the essence of his message. Watching the warehouse transform into a symbol of surrender and perspective was unforgettable. “Wheels Up” speaks to anyone feeling overwhelmed, offering a moment to step back, lean on God, and rise above life’s challenges. I’m honored to have played a part in sharing that message with the world.
